One of my mini-goals for this year is to moisturise and wear perfume every day so that I can finally get through the massive amount of body lotions and perfumes I've accumulated recently. That was until my boyfriend bought me these lovelies back from America as a Christmas gift. ;) Anyone who's been into an A&F store knows that they spray their signature 'No.1' scent around until you feel sick and dizzy, but at least it smells amazing!
The perfume is predominantly a mix of white pepper and sandalwood which is quite a strong scent but softens after a few minutes. It's a great perfume to wear for everyday use because it stays on all day - something that seems to never happen for me! The body lotion has a more delicate version of the signature fragrance, but is every bit as lovely and leaves the skin feeling beautifully soft. The only problem is that I keep wanting to use these all the time! It's not helping the mini-resolution at all, though I'm not complaining!

I've always been wondering what scent they use in the A&F stores - now I know, thanks! I've been trying to use my beauty products too - I accumulate them thinking I will save them for later (silly thought) but I've now decided to use most of them, before I hit Boots again and spend lots of money on things I already own! :)

DeleteI used to do the exact same thing with perfumes and creams and stuff, until I gave everything away to my sister and now have one signature scent, works out so much better this way. I don't think I've ever been in an A&F but this does sound nice. Cute gift for him to bring you back. :)

I agree. The store sprays the perfume a bit too much and makes you nauseous but if you use it on yourself in small doses it smells great! Xx

Ooo I don't think I've ever smelled this before! That store always smells so much like the clothes it's hard to pick out any other scent! After I too finish up all my lotions and perfumes, I'll check it out!!

I never knew they had a perfume of that 'store scent', I always thought it smelled so nice in there! The packaging & the bottle is so lovely & very A&F too! I have so much moisturiser to use up as well, but I only have 2 perfumes (Flowerbomb & 212 Sexy) & I stick to those as my kind of signature scents.

ReplyDeleteI always think of the A&F store as being like a nightclub, especially the one in New York. It's incredibly dark, the music is ridiculously loud, and there are half dressed people wandering around! x
