Well, that title's a bit of a mouthful but that's what I'm doing today! I ordered these lovelies when I got an email through from lookfantastic.com saying they had a sale on. I've not owned any Benefit products before and I've heard that they're great from it seems the world and its mother, so I wanted to give them a try! They arrived two days later along with a chocolate bar (I love good service!) and I tried them out straight away.
The brow gel is a neutral colour and comes with cute instructions on how to use it, which is a nice touch. The gel itself is very good and kept my brows in place all day, making them look more combed and groomed. I wouldn't say it's some sort of miracle product but it does add a nice finish to an outfit by having nice eyebrows.
The mascara blew me away! The very first stroke immediately showed just how awesome a mascara this is and made my lashes 100% better. The spiked tip of the brush is excellent for lengthening and actually curling lashes which means I don't have to use my eyelash curler or primer when I put it on. Bonus! Although it's pricier than the average mascara, it really makes a difference when you first start using it. I'll definitely be buying this one again.
Do you guys have any Benefit products? If you're undecided about them then hopefully this will help you make up your mind!

ReplyDeleteI'm quite afraid of eyelash curlers, haha! My current mascara does a great job at curling and lengthening my lashes without one, but I'd love to try Benefit's once mine runs out.
ReplyDeleteI only own two products from Benefit, and it's their Coralista blush + high beam. I got it in the deluxe sample size (I think it was ~$12 at Sephora for both, in a package) and I really like both of them!
I really need a brow gel! My brow hairs always seem to drop downwards throughout the day so strange lol! Might give this a go I've never tried anything from benefit before! xx

Funny I passed by a Benefit store today and almost popped in! I had just purchased the #1 cover up by Fresh so did not want to spend anymore money. The Fresh store is up the street from the Benefit store. But they are discontinuing their makeup line, all of it! So now I will have to find a new under eye cover up! I have High Beam by Benefit and I like it. I will have to check out that mascara.
